GE: New $tuff

All my masters and my piggy pet. Decided to upgrade in some departments - get a better looter, get some costumes. Wanted to see what I can get from shelling out some cash.
I toyed around with the Letizia Feso shop which is mostly a useless gamble but I got a Vigilar pistol (36AR), completely blank, that I sold for a billion, so I bought three +5 ELNs with 3DR for the characters pictured and a clean 32AR metal armor which I chipped with 2AR but am planning on rechipping for 3. I shelled over 100 chips on that armor so I feel like it's a cursed thing.
I went down to like 60 million but today I noticed a White Tiger pet for 25mio so now I'm down to over 25. I don't really have set goals so I'm impulse spending.
Gonna get new weapons then I will try and save up for permanent ET rings. Perhaps will gamble more in the future, or just buy growth stones for enhancing. It costs like 800k feso to attempt once at +6ing, let's hope the RNG gods love me.

Actually managed to break some 31 and 32 AR weapons going to +6 the other day so I guess the first strikes of several +6s was luck. So I guess trump weapons are the cheapest alternative I won't feel bad about breaking. Might buy some +6 serpents but the market is pretty empty.

Idge fighting the Rabbit King.
Training the characters I have to lvl 100 for family level, got Calypso to Expert, will get Idge to expert too and then together with Cathy the three will level their stances.
Those girls need costumes too. Everyone needs costumes! I'm gonna be piss poor one day. It's like Guild Wars 2 - fashion is most important, who cares that I need to figure out how to get high tired weapons. I hate Valeron powders anyways. :3

MISC: New and upgraded

So I am slightly remaking some of my Granado Espada character pages, it's coming along slowly but I will link the ones I've updated:
Raven & Ralph
The Torsches & Mary
Asoka & Cruz

It's not much but I've rewritten most pages that I had, for some reason some characters have either disappeared or I've deleted their pages. I don't remember anymore!

GE: Sudden luck?

I was messing with upgrades and got a rod to +6, I didn't expect it to work out. Then I played with enchanting as I had over 100 Lv. 100 chips. I wanted to go for AR since this is for Emily but those stats are far too perfect. That was quite surprising.
Before enhancing the rod I got two Shivalrier(?) armors to +6, sadly both broke when upgrading to +7 so no Grandies for me. But getting three items to +6 with just shiny crystals was very surprising. It's probably beginners luck.
Then again I upgraded two +0 weapons to +6 with only shinies in GEO too so maybe the whole "weapons under 33AR won't have anti-destroys now" means that the RNG is better? Then again it's still a 50% chance to go to +6 so I might as well fail three times in a row after getting it three times in a row.
My whole team in GEEU is Master now so I'm leveling stances for Emily and my elementalist. When the experimental equipment runs out I will probably start leveling noobs. I probably need to replace Grasi with a better melee character - I was thinking about Grandies because she uses metal armor and has splash damage but I also noticed that Idge has similar properties, she even has a personal skill that has a 20% chance to inflict Armor Breaker on normal attack, that's pretty good. Wish I had Battlesmith Idge though. She's 245mio on GEO but no sight of her in GEEU. Oh well! I still have some time to ponder.
It's also odd how when I look at my barracks in GEO then compare it to the characters I care about in GEEU I think I'd be fit with under 10 characters. Most other character are just for novelty and family level, unless I get star eyes all of a sudden.

I want to level these characters for PVE:
Emily (maybe should invest regular scout as a leather armor wearing support);
Grace, Lorch for levelling (maybe Marie);
Elementalist, maybe someone else that does magic AOEs;
A 'strong' melee character (I s'pose fighters are the go-to tanks but I already expressed my wishes for Idge or Grandies, I also really like Asoka but there's little chance I'll get her.);
Calypso or Ralph (or Veil);
Maybe a musketeer or other pistoler;
Catherine for summons and farming;
Grasi.

But out of all the characters available I care about ten characters tops. '_' Sad thing my favorite characters tend to be premium.

GE: Elisabeth the Elementalist

A doodle of my elementalist, Elisabeth. I chose a messy brush because I wanted to do a painterly thing, obviously my laziness won me over and I couldn't get past flat colors. I will, however, draw more things.
Elementalists are my favorite stock class, I like the girl costumes best. Also big melons.

GE: IT'S BEEN 84 YEARS

Ok, maybe not 84 but the last update to this blog was 3 years ago, oh goodie. I didn't quit GE for 3 years though, I still played GEO a bit and have some blog posts here and there but I finally decided to revive this particular blog. It's funny, I've changed both as a person and a player. I mean, I was still in high school when I ended that blog now I'm going to start my last year in uni. Anyways!

Granado espada is my eternal undying love because I love the character designs, however the game on GEO servers got a bit too grindy. I can't leave my characters and costumes behind but it's not as exciting as it was back in the day.

So, my good ol' pal Oli introduced me to Granado Espada Europe. It's strange replaying all the quests which have been tweaked and nerfed. I got to expert in a week, I think this blog catalogues me getting to expert over the course of years. It's strange but I like it.
Yesterday I finished the quest for Hapkido in 30 minutes with all my team participating. Back in the day I suffered with a master Gracielo who had lended armor. I actually like that it's easier now because I'm a filthy casual and don't like freaking over games.

Anyways, to make it interesting, here have a screenshot:
Fritz believes in his student!

So far my goals are to gear my characters and get all the expert stances. I'm having fun since I have lots of quests to do. My only worry is that one day I would like to have Ralph but I have no idea how to acquire him - no cards in the MM, no cards in the perma cash shop, no nothing. I hope he will exist sometime in the future since I saw players with Ralphs. He's just one of my favs and I love crossbow users so there's that. A guy can dream.

GW2: Botanist Klekks

To celebrate the resurrection of my blog, I am going to do a little character post! There was a character slot sale on Guild Wars 2 and I made a new character - an elementalist asura called Botanist Klekks.
It's hard to come up with good names - a gw2 themed name generator gave me the suggestion 'Piss' for a male asura name. Technically it adheres to canon, but really, Piss? Funny.
Anyways, first idea was Kex or Kekks because it sounds like the Latvian word for cupcake - kēkss. Then I went for Klekks since that sounds like 'kleksis' - a colloquialism in Latvian to refer to a dirty spot.
Considering the fact Klekks works with plants he can get his claws dirty quite often, so that name seemed most fitting.

Here is a height comparison between Klekks and Zojja. I made him a bit chubby and also max height - he does a lot of hard work! Must stay in shape. A buff ele is a bit odd, a buff asura even moreso. He looks surprisingly good in some types of light armor - usually a big headache for male characters in gw2.

Not to mention that he has a cute face. Klekks is a pleasant asura - a bit sharp tongued like most but not arrogant or outright malicious to other races, maybe a bit insensitive to sylvari since they're plant-people, Klekks finds them most intriguing.
Klekks hails from the college of Synergetics, so he's all about the Eternal Alchemy and the mathematics and philosophy behind it, I suppose that's why his hobby is gardening. After a long hard day in the lab picking weeds is the right kind of activity to relax.

In other news - I need to find a better way to take prettier gw2 screenshots. I cannot run the game on max settings but I need to find a format that doesn't create grainy pictures. Perhaps through fraps. Apparently there's a way to make the game output the screenshots as .bmp or anything else but that takes some messing around I'm too lazy to do. God forbid I mess up the game.
